We have all experienced varying levels of quality in the goods and services we buy, but this isn’t the only definition of quality.
In Compliance circles, we talk about Quality Management Systems, this is a much broader concept that brings together all the inter-related or interacting elements of a company to establish policies and objectives and processes to achieve those objectives.
A company who chooses to certify their quality management system to the international ISO9001:2015 standard is committed to ensuring their entire business to focused towards continuously improving its processes to provide a better quality product or service to their customers.
